Cloud Storage

Sharing your images with us ahead of ordering is a great way to speed up the ordering process on our website. You will no longer need to upload your images each time you place an order and you can control what images we have access to – and update them and add to them in your own time.

Google Drive

Google’s cloud storage gives you 15GB of free space, which is usually plenty of room for all your files, however if you use Google for email, documents or photos, these services also eat into that 15GB allowance. If you need more space, you can sign up to Google One for individuals and that gives you 100GB of space for a monthly or yearly cost.

Once you’ve signed to Google Drive and downloaded their app, you’ll be able to use your computers file explorer/finder to create folders and move around files.

To create a Shared Folder, head over to Google Drive online and find the folder you wish to share with us, right-click on the folder and choose Share, enter our email address (hello@dstudiouk.com) and click Done. We’ll now have access to everything within this folder only, please do not move, rename or delete the folder as this will affect our access to your images.

Dropbox

Dropbox’s free Basic plan gives you 2GB of free space, this can be expanded by inviting friends, family and colleagues to sign up, if they do, you’ll receive an extra 500MB of space (up to a maximum of 16GB). If you need more space, you can sign up to Dropbox Plus for 2TB for a monthly or yearly cost.

Once you’ve signed up to Dropbox and downloaded their app, just like Google Drive, you’ll be able to use your computer’s file explorer/finder to create folders and move around files. You can also use your file explorer/finder to share a folder of images/files with us. Right Click on the folder you wish to share with us and select Share… this will pop open a window where you can enter our email address (hello@dstudiouk.com) and an optional message, then click Share.

Placing Orders

You will no longer need to upload your images when placing orders, however you will need to make sure your images are appropriately named so the title of the image you request on your order, matches the filename of the image we need to print for you.
